Online Multiplayer Survival
Fallout 76 takes the series online, allowing players to explore a vast, post-apocalyptic Appalachia with friends or strangers. Team up to survive the dangers of the wasteland, from mutated creatures to other players.

Massive Open World Set in West Virginia
Set in a sprawling recreation of West Virginia, Fallout 76 offers players the largest map in the series, with diverse environments like forests, swamps, and mountains filled with hidden locations and lore.

Building and Crafting with C.A.M.P.
The C.A.M.P. (Construction and Assembly Mobile Platform) system allows players to set up mobile bases anywhere in the world. Gather resources to build homes, workshops, and defenses, crafting everything from weapons to furniture.

Nuclear Warheads and PvP Combat
Players can find and launch nuclear missiles, drastically altering regions of the map and creating high-risk, high-reward areas filled with powerful enemies and rare loot. In PvP combat, players can engage in battles with others, but it requires mutual consent to initiate.

Mutated Creatures and Legendary Foes
Fallout 76 features new and terrifying creatures inspired by West Virginian folklore, such as the Mothman and the Wendigo. Legendary enemies pose even greater challenges, dropping powerful, rare loot when defeated.

Dynamic Quests and Public Events
The game offers a dynamic quest system where players can join public events or random encounters as they travel through Appalachia. These events range from defending settlements to battling hordes of enemies alongside other players.

Player-Driven Economy
Fallout 76 features a player-driven economy where players can trade items, resources, and crafted goods. Establish your own vendor stations, interact with others, and engage in the barter system to acquire rare materials or gear.

Post-Launch Updates and Expansions
The game has received major updates such as Wastelanders, which added NPCs with dialogue and storylines, bringing the world more in line with traditional Fallout RPGs, and Steel Dawn, which expands on the Brotherhood of Steel faction.

Character Progression with SPECIAL System
Players level up using the familiar SPECIAL system (Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, Luck), gaining perks through collectible cards that can be mixed and matched to create unique builds suited to different playstyles.
