Questo documentario di Davide Mocci racconta alcuni aspetti della vita e della morte nella Sardegna centrale, figure note del passato come le Attitadoras e i Campanari, impronte di vita ancora oggi presenti e fortemente tramandate alle nuove generazioni, nonostante i rapidi cambiamenti e la moderna e diffusa globalizzazione.
Mostra anche la natura straordinaria del Gennargentu, la catena montuosa più alta dell’isola che nonostante il disastroso deturpamento perpetrato, soprattutto nel 1800, custodisce ancora tanti boschi che possiedono alberi vecchissimi, alcuni fra più vecchi d’Italia.
La raccolta delle castagne, affascinante e festosa, era capace di entusiasmare intere famiglie che, fedeli a vecchie tradizioni, si aggregavano per queste esigenze lavorative.
Oggi, sebbene l’uomo viaggi ai ritmi vertiginosi della modernizzazione, nelle montagne le attività umane ancora mostrano scenari d’altri tempi, la martellante attività dei Sonaggiargios, degli intarsiatori, le abili mani che creano il pane e il formaggio.
Il film offre un ritratto sincero della vita, dei ricordi e della cultura anche di coloro che vivono lì nelle montagne, nel cuore della Sardegna, lontano dal mare.

Sardinia: “Far away from the sea”
This documentary tells some aspects of the life and death in the Sardinian Centre. Note figures of the past like the Attitadoras and the bell-ringer although the changes and the globalisation, people still appreciate them.
It shows the amazing nature of Gennargentu, the chain of the island that although the disastrous transformation in 1800, it guards many forests that possessed old trees, some of the most eldest of Italy.
The collection of the chestnuts, fascinating and delight was able to enthusiasm entire families that faithful to old traditions, participate to this laborious work.
Today although man travels to breathtaking rhythm of the modern world, in the mountains the human activities shows scenes of other times, the hamming activities of Sonaggiargios, and chiselling, the skilful hands that create bread and cheese.
The movie offers a sincere piece of life, of the memories and the culture of those who live their lives in the mountains, in the hart of Sardinia, far away from the sea.

CERDEÑA "LEJOS DEL MAR"
Este documental cuenta algunos aspectos de la vida y la muerte en la Cerdeña central, figuras notas del pasado como los Attitadoras y los Campaneros, huellas de vida todavía hoy presentes y fuertemente transmitídas a las nuevas generaciones, a pesar de los rápidos cambios y la moderna y difusa globalización.
También enseña la naturaleza extraordinaria del Gennargentu, la cadena montañosa más alta de la isla que a pesar del desastroso desfiguramento perpetrado, sobre todo en el 1800, todavía custodia muchos bosques que poseen árboles viejos, algunos entre más viejos que Italia.
La recogida de las castañas, fascinadoras y alegre, fue capaz de entusiasmar enteras familias que, fieles a viejas tradiciones, se incorporaron por estas exigencias laborales.
Hoy, aunque el hombre viaje a los ritmos vertiginosos de la modernización, en las montañas las actividades humanas ancla enseñan escenarios de otros tiempos, la martilleante actividad de los Sonaggiargios, de los taraceadores, las hábiles manos que crean el pan y el queso.
La película ofrece un retrato sincero de la vida, de los recuerdos y de la cultura también de los que viven allí en las montañas, en el corazón de Cerdeña, lejos del mar.

Dieser Dokumentar erklärt einige Aspekte vom Leben und vom Tot im zentralen Sardinien, stellt historische Ereignisse der Vergangenheit dar, wie die Attitadoras und die Glockengießer, Lebensabdrucke noch heute anwesend und stark an die neuen Generationen übergeben, trotz der schnellen Veränderungen und die Moderne und die diffuse Globalisierung.
Zeigt auch die außerordentliche Natur des Gennargentu, die höchste Bergkette auf der Insel, das trotz der verheerenden Verunstaltungen ausgeführt wurde, vor allem im Jahre achtzehnhundert, hütet es immer noch viele Wälder das uralte Bäume besitzt, einige gehören zu den ältesten in Italien.
Die Ernte, faszinierend und festlich, war fähig die gesamten Familien zu begeistern, die Treu an alten Traditionen sich vereinigten für diese Arbeitsbedürfnisse.
Obwohl heute die Modernisierung des Menschen zu schwindelerregende Rhythmen reist, in den Bergen zeigen die humanen Aktivitäten noch Szenarien von anderen Zeiten, die hämmernde Aktivitäten des Sonaggiargios, die Kunsttischler, geschickte Hände die Brot und Käse herstellen.
Der Film bietet eine aufrichtige Schilderung vom Leben, von den Erinnerungen und von der Kultur auch von denjenigen die dort in den Bergen leben, im Herzen von Sardinien, weit weg vom Meer leben.
