Hey folks, CE Plays here! In this hard-mode Oasis episode I tightened the whole water system, stood up a ridge-top wind farm, and finally got those green belts to stay green through droughts. A very “civil-engineer brain meets chaos” kind of session. 🦫

🧭 What I did this episode

Locked water levels with a clean split: 3.60 m reservoir caps + 2.90 m mid-ring and safety sluices for hands-off flow.

Bad-water isolation: levees, dams and hidden dump lanes to keep contamination off soil.

Wind farm + batteries on the high ridge; permanent power chain to pumps/industry.

Aquifer drill built to ~95% (will open next wet season for a big refill).

Excavator & dynamite program: deeper channels, tidy overflow, local storage for boom sticks.

District center move & pathing cleanup for shorter hauls and faster builds.

Housing & wellbeing: rooftop terraces, campfires, lido/spa nook, lanterns & shrubs.

Resource rescue: log shortage fixed with targeted clear-cuts and new lumber camps.

Next-step farms: planning hanging gardens/under-water crop spots below the spillways.

⚠️ Spicy moments

Set the wrong priorities → gear shortage mid-build… recovered with a quick production shuffle.

Realized logs were the bottleneck → dropped bridge access + twin lumber flags and bounced back.

Nearly flooded a build pocket (again) before the last dam piece went in—overflow saved it. 😅

💡 Quick tips from this run

Hands-off flow: pair sluices (e.g., 3.60 / 2.90) with “close above contamination” where needed to stop micro.

Keep bad water off terrain using levee floor/walls and a sealed dump trench.

Wind + batteries: ridge placement keeps pumps humming through no-wind nights.

Water math: 1 beaver ≈ 2.5 water/day → size tanks before population booms.
