Manufactured in Portugal, in Europe, Chatron's SUN PIPE – SUN TUNNEL -SOLAR LIGHT TUBE feature a design based on energy efficiency and have great integration with the global lighting of buildings (PERSA SUN PIPE – SUN TUNNEL -SOLAR LIGHT TUBE and URANUS SUN PIPE – SUN TUNNEL -SOLAR LIGHT TUBE versions).

Studies have shown that on average about 80% of working hours in closed environments can be done under natural lighting, thus contributing directly to the reduction of energy consumption and consequently to the improvement of the energy efficiency of buildings. The physical and psychological health of all workers depends on the working conditions and if it takes place in natural spaces, provided with natural light (illuminated with SUN PIPE – SUN TUNNEL -SOLAR LIGHT TUBE, with Persian light tunnels, Uranus integrated lighting), then it will be better than elsewhere without these conditions.

Os Tubo Solar – Túnel de Luz – Sun Pipe da Chatron são sistemas de captação e de transmissão da luz natural (daylight) até ao interior dos edifícios onde terminam com os difusores solares.

A cúpula é colocada no exterior e maximiza a captação da luz solar natural que vai entrar no Tubo Solar – Túnel de Luz – Sun Pipe- e que a encaminha até ao difusor solar colocado no interior da instalação. A grande vantagem é a de poder levar a luz natural a espaços que de outra forma era praticamente impossível de iluminar: Iluminação de casas de banho interiores, corredores, caves etc. As cúpulas, os Tubo Solar – Túnel de Luz – Sun Pipe e os difusores solares apresentam particularidades únicas e seletivas, pelo que transmitem a “boa” luz e eliminam a luz prejudicial (UV, e parte dos Infravermelhos) pelo que a transmissão de calor ou frio para o interior é residual.
