With the growth of world population, the availability of freshwater decreases; but with the advancement of desalination technologies, seawater has now become an interesting water resource as an alternative to cope with the freshwater shortage. About the Trainer:
Mr Amir Basha graduated with Honours in the field of Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamrajar University, India. He has 30 years of experience in the field of thermal & membrane desalination, out of which 24 years of experience is with the Middle East. Mr Basha is adept with operation & maintenance of RO plants as well as Thermal desalination plants. He has introduced several innovations in seawater desalination. He offered consultancy to Rabigh Arabian Water and Electricity Company (RAWEC), Saudi Arabia for Operation and Maintenance of their 200 MLD SWRO plant.
