Описание к видео Jiu Er - Tan Jin [ENG SUB] 九儿 - 谭晶

PREPARE TO GO ON AN EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER RIDE WITH JUST FOUR LINES OF LYRICS!!

Tan Jin sings the song "Jiu Er", the name of the ninth daughter ("Jiu" means Nine/ninth in Chinese), in reflect of the darkest and most hopeless times during WWII. Jiu Er hid wounded soldiers in the village and distracted enemies by singing this song in the field of red sorghum. She later sacrificed herself by setting the field on fire, saving what's left of her village.
