Описание к видео Building Bridges and Healing Divides with the Black 14 | Arts & Comms: Behind the Stories Season 3

BYU School of Communications students and faculty worked together to create a magazine and film documentary about the Black 14’s history and humanitarian efforts. The Black 14 created the “Mind, Body and Soul Initiative,” a program that fights food scarcity, and partnered with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to provide food for communities nationwide. The BYU School of Communications’ documentary is being used across the nation to show how race, gender and religion can be catalysts of connection rather than fault lines of contention. The College of Fine Arts and Communications strives to support students and faculty in their studies and professional pursuits by providing quality learning experiences in both the classroom and the real world. Thanks to generous donors and excellent educators, we can walk side by side with our students to teach them the skills necessary to succeed in their field of choice.

This past year, a number of disciplines within the college have been able to not only provide students with life-changing experiences, but document them as well.

The Center for Animation, Music and Communications were able to share all that went into some of their more recent prestigious projects. We invite you to enjoy the work these departments have proudly produced.
