Edit 1-16-23:
Ok, looks like there's an OBS plugin by Exeldro that solves the monitor problem
if you don't want to use VoiceMeeter

Side note,
So The original method I had was to also monitor the Streamer.bot source in the advanced audio menu. But that was before i realized I could just send it directly from Streamer.bot. If you use OBS to monitor SB, it'll free SB's 'play sound' output and you could send it to another device if you wanted to. This felt even more complicated to explain so I changed it to keep it straighter forward. But it's worth mentioning in-case you need another audio out.

| So whats the want?
|
| The want is to play audio-clips over voice chat
| Using Streamer.bot
|
| The execution:
OK, this tutorial is based off of ViLe FreT's video, go watch their
video for a more in-depth set-up. I'm just here to bring
Streamer.bot into it.

Set OBS audio Monitor device to VB_Virtual_AudioCable

Create a Win_capture_Audio source in OBS of streamer.bot

Set the Audio output for your Streamer.bot to the VB_Virtual_AudioCable same as the OBS monitor output.

See, SINCE we have OBS pulling the audio directly from streamer.bot.exe
we don't need it pipped into OBS.

Now in the advanced mixer options, set your
Microphone Audio mixers to 'Monitor and output'.
This will capture your microphone and whatever else
you make monitored for the stream, and pass it on to discord or
anything with an audio input.

So then Open Discord, and select the 'VB_Virtual_AudioCable' as
your INPUT DEVICE, now either play a sound or talk into your microphone.
You should be hearing it come through your OUTPUT DEVICE when you select 'Lets Check'

Now it's probably going to be choppy and not nice sounding.
To fix this scroll down and un-check
'Echo Cancellation', 'Noise Suppression' and potentially 'gain control'.
Especially since were going to use our OBS mic filters in discord, we don't need
Discord to confuse and make things even more complicated later.

Now for a simple execution, this method works well, the only downside is that
you cannot monitor the audio in your headphones, so if you have timed
audio events, like announcing the top of the hour it's helpful to
have those also play in your headset.

SO we're going to install VOICEMEETER! And under utilize the crap out of it.
ALL we are going to do is install it, make 'Hardware Input 1' as our
'VB_Virtual_AudioCable' then on the right side of the program screen
click 'A1' select your headphones or monitoring device,,,AND boom that's it.
Yes, it's one more program, but what's one more when you're running like 13 others
already?
