Kenneth Copeland Teaches About Communion

Описание к видео Kenneth Copeland Teaches About Communion

Communion is more than a religious ritual, and in this video, Kenneth Copeland teaches about communion and just how holy it is. He reminds us what the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:21: “For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”

Without the blood of Jesus, we would still be operating under the Law of the Old Covenant. We would have to follow strict laws for how we worshiped, what we wore, what we ate, where we went, with whom we talked, how we cooked, how we lived from day to day, how we cleaned our houses, even how we stored our food. The Law would influence every moment of our lives. And even with faithfully following that Law, it still wouldn’t be enough. Still we would be unable to pray directly to the Father. Instead, we would rely on a priest to make yearly atonement for our sins.

Why?

Because we are incapable of rectifying our sin in our own strength. A pure sacrifice was necessary.

Jesus’s blood was so precious because He was without sin. He was perfect. He didn’t deserve death, yet He endured the cross for us. Hebrews 9:14 tells us, “For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.”
Communion signifies forgiveness (Hebrews 9:12). It is a reminder of all that Jesus endured so that we could enjoy freedom—the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical freedom.

When you take communion, remember to that you are innocent because of His blood. God ordained it so that Jesus paid the price for every wrong decision and every sin. “He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins” (Ephesians 1:7). So by “pleading the blood,” you are calling on the covenant that Jesus made with His own blood. You are acknowledging that you are unable to pay the price for your sin. But Jesus was and He did.
