Basketball season is upon us. Across the country, teams ended their preseason conditioning and began practice the early on Friday, Oct. 15. To celebrate the opening of the new season, USC Aiken held their annual Midnight Madness celebration on Monday, Oct. 18 entitled "Witness the Madness." The event included fun and games, a presentation of championship watches to the men's team commemorating their 2010 Peach Belt Conference Tournament Championship, and culminated with the teams being introduced to the large crowd on hand. The "Killer B's," Alex Buchman and Travis Broome, were on hand for the festivities that included both the women's and men's basketball teams as well as the cheer and dance squads. Broome and Buchman were joined by former USC Aiken women's basketball player Cameron Crapps who took some time to talk to a few players about Midnight Madness.
