🇲🇽 Pig Beach Walking Tour in Chelem Beach in May 2023 | Yucatan Peninsula Mexico

May 19, 2023. This is a walking tour of the Pig Beach in Chelem Puerto Yucatan, Mexico. The Pig Beach is located on the east side of Chelem could be considered Yucalpeten. Chelem is a small beach town that is 15 min drive away from Progreso and it is part of the Progreso municipality. The video starts with a drive showing how to get to the Pig Beach, it is located 1km from the entrance of Merida and 800m from the one from Progreso. The walk shows the parking lot and the thigs they offer besides swimming with Pigs, that include showers, lockers, restrooms, a bar, food options, and kayak for rent. As this walk was done at around noon, it was too hot for the pigs to be out, so If you want to swim with them head there early in the morning or closer to sunset as that is the time they go out to play.
