St. Joseph College Seminary - Rooted In Faith

Over the past 50 years since the Diocese of Charlotte was established, we have grown over tenfold and boast a Catholic population of more than 400,000. We are the fastest growing diocese in the country, and with every soul that desires a life with Christ, we need a priest to care for them.

By His design, Christ communicates Himself through the medium of ministers. In the Diocese of Charlotte, we currently have one priest for every 2,000 parishioners – a load that is not light for any single man to carry. We need priests and we need faithful priests.

The Lord is answering this prayer of ours. Now we must be responsible to this unprecedented rise in vocations that we see.
