Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday arrested Jharkhand rural development minister and Congress leader Alamgir Alam in connection with a huge cash recovery from the household help of his personal secretary Sanjeev Lal. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has announced that the INDIA bloc will double the quantity of free rations provided by the BJP government to the poor if voted to power.
