Making Winter Wonderland natural cold process soap with Christmas tree embeds & natural colourants

Описание к видео Making Winter Wonderland natural cold process soap with Christmas tree embeds & natural colourants

Christmas is undoubtedly my favourite time of year, which is probably why today's soap is my absolute favourite out of all the soaps we have created this year!

We are using a selection of all natural plant and clay based colourants (no mica) to create a really wintry, festive soap. It features dark green Christmas trees against a snowy backdrop - I like to think of it as a snowy Christmas Eve scene!

To create this design we used Kaolin clay, Indigo powder, Moroccan red clay, Cocoa powder, Spirulina powder and French green clay. We have chosen to scent it with a blend of Cedarwood, Cypress and Fir Needle essential oils, so it really does smell like Christmas trees!

Today we will be showing you how we have created this design, including a very quick clip of how we created the Christmas tree embeds.

Follow our cold process recipe and tutorial for details on how you can make this at home!

Our soaps are all palm oil free and this one is vegan friendly too.

The total ingredients we used for this soap are as follows:

Water 1320g
Sodium Hydroxide (Lye) 654g
Olive Oil 2040g
Coconut Oil 1104g
Shea Butter 450g
Cocoa Butter 228g

Sweet Almond Oil 594g
French Green Clay 10g
Spirulina Powder 20g
