I finally built my first permanent base, and built the Modification Station to give myself upgrades. Then I fully explored the Enforcement Structure, learned this planet is under quarantine because of a bacterial infection. And I can't turn off the Enforcement Structure until I am no longer infected. I learned the location of other alien structures on the planet.
