Before you start milling, there's lots to do. Break down the log in lengths you want to mill, position log to mill, sharpen chain, put gas and oil in chainsaw, put the mill on the saw, install the ladder, remove the top "rounded" slab, then mill your first slab! lots of work but worth it!
