Paruppu Thogayal Recipe-Simple Paruppu Thuvaiyal For Rice

Paruppu Thogayal is a simple Tamil Brahmin dish prepared with lentils and spices. As it is a bit dry, it goes very well with jeera rasam or any vegetable kootu. It is easy to make and tastes delicious when served with hot rice topped with a tsp of sesame seed oil or ghee. It also goes well as a side dish for rice kanji or payaru kanji.
