Like many theatres around the world, we found it hard not being able to perform live and share our stories. It's also difficult finding ways to perform during these unfortunate times. So we thought this would be a great opportunity for us to tell stories that aren't the "classic" theatre shows. And that's when one of our resident artists, Asaki Kuruma, created Playtime!

Playtime! is where BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) playwrights and performers can have their work seen and heard through non-traditional platforms like YouTube and other social media outlets. What makes Playtime even more fun is that you can read the plays while hearing it out loud! How? Each video will have a link to the play where you can purchase at a low cost.
