Making a Transition Fretboard By Hand

The AFTER HOURS guitar continues.
Albeit slowly.

The AFTER HOURS guitar build is a personal guitar build of mine, started way back in 2016 as an "after work hours" project when working at Crimson Guitars. Through the years it has shifted in design and gone through slow progress in between priority work. It is slowly starting to look like a guitar.

This transition fretboard or two-wood fretboard was inspired by my 2019 visit to Amsterdam, where I got inspired by the design on the outer walls of the EYE Film Museum. I had been putting this off for the longest time, because I knew it would take a lot of work, but one summer afternoon I decided to start tackling this once and for all. The result turned quite well indeed if I do say so myself.
