Teaching my husband how to play the OBOE

Hello oboists and oboe fans! In this video I teach my husband Peter how to be an oboist! Peter had never been allowed to play the oboe before so here I take him from a complete beginner all the way to an accomplished player, empowering him to perform the cherished melody, Hot Cross Buns.

We go over oboe finger placement, oboe embouchure, reed alone exercises, how to tongue, and we learn the requisite notes (G, A, B) to be able to play Hot Cross Buns. Stay tuned to the end for the BLOOPERS!
