The SP-460 is the combination of an elevator and a 6 tons bunker - with multiple purposes. The elevator ensures that the machine can work with a continuous quick flow and direct loading into a trailer driving next to the machine under favorable conditions, this ensures maximum yield per hour as there’s no stopping in harvesting. The bunker can support the process as a buffer in instances where there might not be enough trailers for an endless unloading, the elevator arm pivots up along the machine and continues to fill the bunker, capable of holding 6 tons carrots. In lousy conditions where some tractors and trailers may not be able to drive, the SPS3-460BH will just use filling into the bunker, and unload whenever it’s filled up. The whole share lifting section on the machine is designed as a interchangeable unit, so a 4-rowed top-lifting section can replace the share lift, by means of this it’s possible to do top-lifting in the summer times where the carrot tops are standing tall, and share lifting in the colder periods where the tops have laid flat.
