DOOM, in all its iterations, has been one of the most influential and identifiable games in history. Chad Mossholder was senior sound designer of the most recent version, and had to craft a soundscape that was both true to its history and created its own identity. Chad Mossholder is an award-winning Sound Designer and Composer working in Video Games, music and Art Installations. He is currently leading the audio team at id Software. His game titles include: DOOM (2016), DC Universe Online, Star Wars Galaxies, Matrix Online, Everquest, Everquest II, PlanetSide, PlanetSide II, Magic The Gathering, EverQuest Next. Chad also collaborates with groundbreaking multi-media artist Mark Amerika. Creating works such as Immobilite and other experimental audio/video installations and films. http://immobilite.com/ Their work has been displayed all over the world at major galleries and museums receiving much critical acclaim.
