User-based filtering is a feature that allows you to create and enforce security policies based on the identity and role of each user in your network rather than their IP address or devices used.

Zenarmor's user-based filter elevates network security with precision and transparency. Zenarmor integrates with Microsoft Active Directory, which is commonly used by many organizations.
When running the Zenarmor plugin on OPNsense, you may take advantage of the integration with the OPNsense captive portal for user-based filtering and reporting.
With a Premium subscription, you may create as many user-based security policies as you need without limitations on the number of rules, criteria, or actions depending on your unique requirements and preferences. You will have access to more advanced, detailed reporting showing the network activity and security events of each user, group, or department in your organization.
