The family of giraffes already seem comfortable in their new African Plain exhibit which they share with zebras, impala, gemsbok and ostrich. June the giraffe seems a little more wary than the others, looking in astonishment at her new neighbours. She also is careful moving from the grass to the tracks, taking a well considered leap each time.
At 30 seconds in the video that is Nyala passing through and the next day she had a little gift for us all.
