Theta¹ and Theta² Tauri are a wide binary star system in the Hyades cluster, within the constellation Taurus, located approximately 150 light-years from Earth. They move as one: separate, yet bound. Theta¹ Tauri glows red at around 5,000 K, a slower, deeper warmth like a cooling ember. Theta² Tauri shines blue-white at around 9,000 K, sharper and faster, a flicker of kinetic light.

Their colour is shaped by heat, motion, and spectral type. Red stretches across time. Blue compresses it. Together, they reveal contrast in the same sky.
