TSC and lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM)

Описание к видео TSC and lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM)

Around three in every 10 women who live with TSC, and a very small number of males, also develop complications in the lungs, called ‘lymphangioleiomyomatosis’ (or ‘LAM’). The impact and severity that LAM can have on a person varies significantly amongst individuals living with TSC, with problems ranging from shortness of breath and coughing to chest pain or a collapsed lung.

In this free virtual event, we welcomed Professor Simon Johnson (LAM National Centre Director) to discuss the condition in more detail, what it can mean for people who live with the condition day-to-day, and what next steps people with TSC and LAM may have.
