Government employees and pensioners across Pakistan are facing serious challenges regarding salary increase, pension increase, and disparity allowance in 2026. In this video, we share the latest and most important update about the AGEGA (All Government Employees Grand Alliance Pakistan) movement and its growing pressure on the government.

AGEGA leadership has issued a clear warning, stating that recent pension reforms, leave encashment amendments, and the pension notification issued on 2 December 2024 have created uncertainty and financial stress for employees and pensioners. The alliance is demanding immediate withdrawal of these decisions and restoration of the old pension structure.

This video also covers the major demands of government employees, including a 30% Disparity Reduction Allowance, restoration of Rule 17-A, regularization of contract employees, rejection of privatization and PPP policies, upgradation of teachers, health workers and Class-IV staff, and restoration of tax rebate for teachers and researchers.

A peaceful protest and sit-in has been announced for 10 February 2026 in front of the Civil Secretariat. AGEGA has clearly stated that if the demands are not accepted, the protest will continue, and the government will be responsible for the consequences.
