Two years after we first started filming Mrucha Chiasodpoi, we went back to Krangsi Village.

It wasn’t smooth. Nothing went as planned. The road stopped far before the village, and electricity was impossible. The only option left was to carry a generator on our backs, walking nearly two hours uphill from Alikodom.

Even after reaching Krangsi, the problems didn’t stop. The projector kept overheating. Fuel was limited. Every moment felt uncertain, like the screening might collapse at any point.

But it didn’t.

In November 2024, right before the film was completed, we screened Mrucha Chiasodpoi in the same village where it was born. Sitting there, watching the film with the community who trusted us with their lives, their rituals, and their time, this was the reason we made the film in the first place.

This video isn’t about success or perfection.
It’s about returning a story to where it came from, no matter how hard the road back is.

This screening was always the dream.
