Downtown Anchorage's 6th Avenue Protected Bike Lane & 10th Ave's Bike Blvd | Which is Better?

Описание к видео Downtown Anchorage's 6th Avenue Protected Bike Lane & 10th Ave's Bike Blvd | Which is Better?

For the summer of 2024, Anchorage, Alaska has a brand new protect bike lane in the Downtown district. What did it cost? Money-wise, I don't know, but it did cost a 3rd lane on 6th Avenue...one of the busiest roads in the entire city.

In this video, I take a bike ride back and forth on the new protected bike lane and see what it's like to ride on, as well as the existing Bike Blvd on 10th Avenue.

Which one is best for bikers? Which one is safer? Which one has less impact on traffic? Let me know in the comments what you think!

The ebike I am using is the Ride1Up LMT'D V1, and the camera I am using is the GoPro Max. I chose the wrong day to record this video since there was an airshow happening...sorry!
