Vietnam Veteran Celebrates His First Fourth of July as a Purple Heart Recipient

This Independence Day, we celebrate a special milestone with Vietnam War Army Veteran Lawrence Cruz. After more than 50 years since he was wounded in Vietnam, and thanks to the help of the Orange County Veterans Service Office, Lawrence is proudly spending his first Fourth of July as a Purple Heart recipient. Lawrence's story of perseverance and courage reminds us of the true spirit of freedom and sacrifice. 🏅
