The Derjang Irrigation Project is a reservoir scheme constructed across river Lingara & Mathili near village #Majhika in Angul Block.

The Derjang reservoir is 15 kms distance from Angul railway station. The Derjang dam is the best Picnic spot & tourist places in #Angul Odisha. It is an ideal spot for

a group picnic and relaxation and It’s a very nice place to have some beautiful time to spend with friends n family.

Best time to travel is in the morning or in the afternoon as the place will have less crowd. The beauty of the Dam has enjoyed in the time of Sunrise or Sunset is charming. The serene beauty of the green hills and forests attract the Tourist and picnic rush the spot during winter.

Best time to visit Derjang dam picnic spot is from October to June Month and the Winter Season.
