We are choosing this theme as in Bijapur only 15% of water required is supplied , which leads to people storing water in water tanks and vessels, which consume alot of space. So to save space and store water efficiently we have come up with a unique solution. Our proposed solution uses the dead-space area of walls which does not give any structural support to the building and does not harm any beams or columns which provide structural strength. This space which is taken up by a wall, we can fit a HDPE ( High Density Polyethylene) tank to store water and use it at our ease. By using the non accessible area we are not only using space but infact creating more space in our houses. Water storage is a global problem. Our idea provides a local solution for this global problem. Places with scarcity of water like villages, town and cities like Bijapur as well as houses which do not have enough storage space like big city small apartments in Mumbai and Delhi.
