This track holds a very special place in my heart out of all the songs I've made over the years. This was my first official foray into the professional DAW world of ‪@Ableton‬, having just come off a five-year-long stint with the mobile music production app ‪@Auxy‬. Pulling You is dedicated to a family member of mine who was struggling deeply with mental health, and I did my absolute best to represent the unimaginable pain of watching that happen to someone, as well as the desperate hope we all needed in order to just keep going. I hope none of you reading this have to deal with experiences like this, but if so, all I can say (and all I really do say in this song) is that it's gonna be okay. No matter how crazy life gets, there is always someone you can turn to for reassurance, to pull you out of the dark. If you can't find one, ask God. I had to do that a few times myself.
