This is an inaugural post to document “ground zero” so to speak on my new to me 1997 Lexus LX450. This vehicle has 3 previous owners, no wrecks, and only 154,000 miles on its original FZJ80 motor. It was completely assembled by Toyota in Japan, and was only available in 1996 and 1997.

Plans we have for this truck include:
•Baseline the engine bay where I can confidently drive it from Texas to New York, California, Florida, or Washington.
•Add a 2.5” Old Man Emu lift
•BF Goodrich All Terrain tires
•Decide on staying nostalgic or fully kitting this out for overlanding.
