In this video, I will describe the flowering stage care in the late sown wheat crop. The ideal temperature for the wheat crop at the pollination stage is 24 degree Celsius. Increase in temperature from the mentioned disturbs wheat crop yield. The wheat plant is very sensitive to temperature at the reproductive stage. Heat or high Temperature may disturb the flowering in wheat crop.
February temperature is usually ideal for wheat crop pollination and grains filling stage. But unfortunately late sown wheat crop plants emerge spikes in March. The temperature of March may reduce the number of grains and weight of grains. High temperature feel or heat stress can be reduced by;
1) watering
2) potash fertigation
3) amino acids spray
