2020 CFmoto 650cc NK TT review
The CFMoto 650NK is a middleweight naked motorcycle from the Chinese manufacturer and will be launched in India in July this year. The all-new offering boasts of a sharp design language and a compact frame. The fuel tank design gets a muscular appearance and is pleasing to the eye with the tank extensions, complemented by the upswept tail section that makes for a sporty stance. The bike gets a single-piece handlebar with split seats and rear-set foot pegs, which make the for a slightly sporty seating position. The bike comes equipped with 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels.

The CFMoto 650NK measures 2114 mm in length, 757 in width and 1100 mm in height. The wheelbase stands at 1415 mm and the seat height is 815 mm with a ground clearance of 150 mm. The 650NK has a kerb weight of 206 kg and has a large fuel tank capacity of 17 litres. With respect to features, the bike gets a full-LED headlight with a projector lens, KYB sourced USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Disc brakes take care of stopping power with dual piston calipers at the front and a single piston rear caliper, both sourced from J.Juan. Dual-channel ABS is expected to be a standard feature on the motorcycle.

Power on the CFMoto 650NK comes from the 649.3 cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled DOHC motor that is shared with the 650GT and the 650MT motorcycles. The unit though is tuned to produce 60.3 bhp at 9000 rpm and 56 Nm of peak torque at 7000 rpm on the streetfighter. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission. The bike will come to India as a Completely Knocked Down Kit (CKD) and is expected to keep prices around Rs. 4.5-5 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of competition, the CFMoto 650NK directly competes against the Kawasaki Z650 as well as the Triumph Street Triple S in the segment.
