When building an Android app, you’ll spend the majority of your time in Android Studio, the official development environment for Android. That means you’ll use Android Studio to write the code for your app, along with debugging and building it. Android Studio is a large and complex program so it’ll take some time for it to become familiar. I’ll be showing the installation and setup process on a Mac, but the process (including keyboard shortcuts) should be similar on other platforms as well.
