Epiphyllum oxypetalum (Queen-of-the-Night Cactus) Houseplant Care — 166 of 365

Описание к видео Epiphyllum oxypetalum (Queen-of-the-Night Cactus) Houseplant Care — 166 of 365

I've covered a number of different jungle cacti on this channel, but this may very well be my first Epiphyllum in "365 Days of Plants" and it takes the 166th spot. Known as "Queen-of-the-night cactus", Epiphyllum puts out some pretty bodacious blooms in the evening hours—an evolutionary strategy to attract night-pollinating insects.

In this video I'll cover where this is native to, how it grows, where it grows, and best conditions for lighting, watering, fertilizing and more.
