Here is a quick preview of our Italy trip. We took a breathtaking scenic drive from Aviano up into the stunning Dolomites mountains and explored the national park. There, we witnessed the awe-inspiring views of the Secedas and hiked through the surrounding area and town. We were amazed by the natural earth pyramid formations and woke up early the next morning to enjoy boating, hiking, and swimming at Lago di Braises. While the Dolomites were undeniably spectacular, our favorite parts of the trip were actually the scenic drive up there and the random adventures we stumbled upon while exploring freely. The charming town of Barcis was surrounded by the most mesmerizing blue waters and featured a hidden gorge where we kayaked into. We also discovered numerous swimming spots and waterfalls. Moreover, the thunderstorms were absolutely breathtaking! We stumbled upon hidden cafes nestled in the mountains, and locals shared with us the best waterfalls and swimming spots. We even discovered many places on our own during our exploration. We absolutely fell in-love with Italy and cannot wait for another chance to visit again!
