Making Waves - Morning Walk - 6/3

I think we caused a bit of a fuss. Or maybe it was just my fault for tripping over stuff.

And now: Post-walk story time!
So I ended our walk (recording) when I did because we’d been out for a while anyway and our driveway is a popular highway for ants this time of year, which after a while puts a person at risk of being added to that highway. Once I stood up Molly seemed to be on the same page as me about heading inside, so I let her walk instead of giving her the Scoop and carting her like an adorable sack of potatoes. And then as we were coming up the driveway I heard a weird noise.

Apparently, a very brave and/or foolish chipmunk had ended up on our side of the fence just as Molly and I were coming into the area. Molly, of course, wasn’t going to pass that opportunity up. She would have had it, too, if not for her meddling human. As it was, Molly got to touch a chipmunk. I managed to prevent her from keeping hold of the chipmunk and it managed to zip back under the fence. All in all, a very eventful thirty or so seconds.

I’m pretty sure I’m in the proverbial doghouse for interfering. Molly was very upset I wouldn’t let her go over the fence after her prize.
