Becoming A Death Metal Fan In 1 Month

Death Metal is a genre that I never tried to get into but that changes now. I took one month and tried to become a Death Metal fan. Each week I listened to various albums and artists to try and figure out what sounds and styles I appreciate in the genre. I listen to bands like Death, Cannibal Corpse, Gojira, Blood Incantation, Cattle Decapititation, Morbid Angel, and so so many others. Let's see how this goes and if I learn to appreciate the always brutal, sometimes technical, often graphic nature of the genre.
