Growing A Grafted Citrus | Wonder what those branches sprouting from the citrus trees are? Apparently, they are shoots from the rootstock that need to be removed or they will dominate and kill the grafted branch. In our case, both the satsuma mandarin and the yuzu lemon have those shoots with tri-lobed leaves and lots of thorns which I removed today and that is what this video is all about.
