8️⃣ Visit the city La Laguna
San Cristóbal de La Laguna is a very nice, colorful city in Tenerife. It is the former capital city, and it's located nearby the Anaga Rural Parque.

7️⃣ Sunbath on a volcanic beach
The golden beaches in Tenerife are nice, but artificial. We personally preferred the natural, black sand beaches. We recommend the beaches Playa de los Guios and Playa de Santiago for sunbathing. They're both next to Los Gigantes.

6️⃣ Catch the sunset at Playa de los Morteros
Playa de los Morteros is a beautiful, quiet place to watch the sunset. It is located in Adeje. Are you in for a hike? From here you can walk to La Caleta de Adeje.

5️⃣ Visit the Masca valley
This cute village is located in the Teno mountains and is definitely a must-do when you're in Tenerife.

4️⃣ Hike through the Anaga mountains
The Anaga Rural Park is the perfect spot to cool down on a hot summer day. There are plenty of hikes in these mountains. In this video you saw Monte Taborno and Las Vueltas.

3️⃣Watch dolphins and snorkel with sea turtles
Nearby the coast of Los Cristianos there are fish farms. Whales, especially dolphins, hang around in this place. It is not possible to go here on your own, but you can book a guided kayak tour. After whale watching, they guide you to a snorkel spot where you can swim with sea turtles.
