From 1984, "Perfect Strangers" from supergroup Deep Purple. My two favorite drummers when I was learning to play the drums were John Bonham and Ian Paice. This song features the classic lineup of Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Richie Blackmore, Jon Lord, and Ian Paice. This song kind of reminds me of Kashmir from Zeppelin in parts. Super fat groove, and cool 9/8 time signature sections. It was a blast getting the drum sounds for this song; fat powerful snare, big ole' bass drum. Thanks for watching!
