I Survived Almost Losing My Child

Matthew never really knew if he wanted kids or not. But, once his daughter was born he knew he needed every second with her that he could possibly get. After an emergency c-section during the second trimester, he didn't know whether his daughter would survive. Or, whether he could survive if she didn't. What have you survived?
