ReGeneration City illustrates the concept of urban acupuncture through case studies that were presented at the International Society of Biourbanism summer school of 2013, under the supervision of the artist Marco Casagrande, winner of the European prize for architecture 2013.
Urban Acupuncture is the insertion of a small urban project that serves as a catalyst to activate dormant social networks and hence revitalize cities in a contextually-appropriate way. The documentary shows the exploration of community engagement and the amplification of community voice through the methodology of urban acupuncture.
