See how the new Ishimori New Vintage Alto sounds on a variety of popular jazz mouthpieces.

Ishimori Wood Stone New Vintage saxophones are designed and overhauled/setup to the highest standards at the famous Ishimori workshop in Japan. To me the alto has some of the crispness and projection of a King Super 20, and some of the focus and lyrical core of a 60's Mark VI. But it's kind of its own thing also. It doesn't sound a lot like an SBA alto to me, nor that much like a King or a VI.
