Fourth Avenue North in downtown Nashville is closed Monday morning or a water main break.
A spokesperson for Metro Water Services says a contractor hit a water line. The number of those affected is currently unknown., but the spokesperson adds this is not a residential area.
The water main break is on 4th Avenue North between Harrison Street and 3rd Avenue North.

Use caution is you are driving in the area. FOX 17 News will update this story when the road is reopen.
