Assalamu Alaikum Viewers, I am Sheikh Rashed with you. Hope everybody is doing well. .Today I am taking you to a small island in the Bay of Bengal located in Hatia upazila of Nohakhali. Many people have different memories, loves and feelings about Nijhum Dwip. Today we are on our way to this quiet island. Let's start our journey today ...



.First of all, let me tell you how to reach Nijhum Dwip . Nijhum Dwip is located in Noahkhali. You can reach Nohakhali by bus, train .If you want to go by bus from Dhaka to Nohakhali, you have to take the bus of Ekushey Express, Moonline Enterprise, Himachal Express from Dhaka Saidabad Bus Terminal to Sonapur in Nohakhali.

.Besides, Ekushey Paribahan buses from Dhanmondi Jigatla counter regularly leave for Sonapur in Nohakhali at 10:20 pm. Getting to and from these buses will cost a maximum of 750/800 Taka. In other words, it may cost you around Tk. 800 to travel by bus from Dhaka to Nohakhali.


.Now I will tell you how to reach Nijhum DwipI from Sonapur.


From Sonapur in Nohakhali you have to go to Chairman Ghat by CNG or other vehicles. It will cost 450 to 500 Taka to come to Chairman Ghat by reserving CNG. A CNG can seat a maximum of 5 people. .You will get various C-trucks, trawlers and speed boats to go from [Chairman Ghat to Hatia]. It may cost you 120 to 400 Taka. The C trucks leave at 8 am every day and the return C trucks arrive at 10 am.


.After that you have to get off at Hatia Nilachar Ghat and reach Moktaria Ghat by motorbike. As soon as you get off at Bandartila Ghat by trawler from Moktaria Ghat, you will find Nijhum Dwip in front.


On the way to Nijhum Dwip we were able to capture some of the natural beauty on camera. .On the way we were going to Nijhum Dwip, we could see a unique view of the various beauties of nature. Before heading to Nijhum Dwip, we took some time to visit Nijhum Island National Park.


.Nijhum Island National Park covers a total area of ​​17,352.23 hectares of the four islands of Ballarchar, Char Osman, Kamlar Char and Char Muri. The biodiversity of Nijhum Dwip is quite rich. Originally, the park was a unique habitat for wildlife.



.In addition to the numerous migratory winters, the island is also home to many Chitra deer. Aquatic and panikata birds come to visit Nijhum Dwip. The park is one of the major endangered species of endangered birds in the world.


The main wildlife of this park on Nijhum Dwip is Chitra deer. .Here the density of Chitral deer per acre is three times higher than that of Sundarbans. As there are no carnivorous animals like tigers, they are breeding rapidly. .Most of the tourists who come to this part of Nijhum Dwip must visit this park of Nijhum Dwip at least once.


You can rent a boat to get a closer look at the biodiversity of Nijhum Dwip National Park. .Many trees, wild animals and birds can be seen on both sides of the entire park. In a word, you will find all the animals here except the tiger. That is why the whole region of this silent island is called the reflection of the Sundarbans.
