Secret Place at Köthen Castle (Documentary, Short - 2024)

In the spring of 2024, New Chamber Ballet performed at the Köthen Castle in Germany, presenting the ballet "Secret Place" to music by Bach and Reiko Fueting. 300 years earlier, Bach had been a court musician at the castle; there he composed his famous Chaconne for solo violin.

This short documentary looks behind the scenes at how New Chamber Ballet brought the Chaconne, in Miro Magloire's choreography, back to the place where it was created; and shows excerpts of this once-in-a-lifetime performance.
